An analytical model of long-term fluid-saturated and multiply undermined rock mass deformation has been developed at RANIMI, FSBSI

Within the framework of the implementation of the fundamental research work FRSR-2023-0006 "Research into the Stability and Transformation of the Stress&Strain State of Fluid-Saturated Rock Mass ", an analytical model of lengthily fluid-saturated and multiply undermined rock mass deformation has been developed at RANIMI, FSBSI. The model allows establishing geomechanical criteria of "fluid-saturated mass – mine roadway" system stability, while taking into account the specific features of rocks in fluid-saturated state, a mechanism for calculating the prediction of the condition of a vertical mine shaft support.
The analytical model developed was used in modeling geomechanical conditions in the main and service shafts of the "Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya" mine, the optimal parameters of the shafts support were estimated and are used by SHAKHTOPROKHODKA LLC in the elaboration of the project for the repair of the main and service shafts and of the mine workings at the 915 m level of the Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya mine, the implementation report has been obtained.
The introduction of the stated model allowed providing for the long-term geomechanical stability of the shaft system and of the pit-bottom roadways at the 915 m level of the Sukhodolskaya-Vostochnaya mine, which in its turn ensures the safe operation of the mine.
