A.A. Glukhov, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of RANIMI, FSBSI had a word at the plenary session of the Thirteenth International Youth Innovation Project "School of Ecological and Geological Prospects." In his speech, he underlined the importance of integrating science, education, and youth initiatives to address topical environmental and geological issues. Particular attention was paid to the role of an interdisciplinary approach in modern research. A.A. Glukhov remarked the high level of the presented works and the growing interest in young people to scientific activity.
Within the frameworks of the project thematic compact lectures were held by leading scientists on the key lines of environmental and geological research. The participants had an opportunity to get familiarized with advanced scientific developments and methods. A significant part of the program consisted of the presentations delivered by high school, undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students. Their research covered a wide range of contemporary environmental and geological issues.
The plenary session became an important platform for exchanging knowledge, discussing scientific ideas, and training future research talents.
As well N.A. Dubrova, Head of the Department for the Issues of Geomechanics of the Fluid-Saturated Rock Masses had a word at the Session by delivering her report "On the Issue of Underground Hydrosphere Pollution with Harmful Contaminating Substances."
