The Forum addressed the most significant challenges and achievements in the sphere of geomechanics and geodynamics in the mineral deposits development and underground space management.
Specialists of the leading mining companies, research institutions, and universities from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, and other countries were invited to participate in the Forum, as well as representatives of the International Society of Rock Mechanics (ISRM) and the International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM).
The following RANIM, FSBSI employees had a word at the 13th International Scientific and Practical Forum "Innovative Approaches to the Design of Mining Enterprises: Safe and Efficient Development of Mineral Deposits”:
- Acting Director of the Institute, A.A. Glukhov presented his report "Geophysical Prediction of the Parameters of a Rock Decompactification Zone Above Mined-Out Space";
- Head of the Soil Surface Displacement and Undermined Structures Protection Department, N.N. Grishchenkov presented his report " Severe Deformation Zones Formation in a Rock Mass Above Mine Workings."
