The conference, "Scientific Instrumentation: Prospects for Elaboration, Creation, Development and Use," was held within the frameworks of the All-Russian Scientific Congress "Azov Basin and Azov Region: Strategic Problems, Threats, and Risks" dedicated to the memory of RAS Corresponding Member Dmitry Gennadyevich Matishov. The congress was held in Rostov-on-Don from June 17 to 19, 2026, at the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The conference was chaired by the Director of the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Doctor of Geographical Sciences Sergei Vladimirovich Berdnikov and the Deputy Director for Research at the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Doctor of Engineering Science Yuri Igorevich Yurasov. Representatives and staff of scientific organizations developing scientific instruments, as well as manufacturers of instruments and equipment for scientific research participated in the Conference.
Researcher from RANIMI Ecological and Geophysical Research Department Anton Yuryevich Gritsaenko presented his report "Development of a Universal Hardware and Software Platform for Constructing High-Precision Microseismic Recorders." In his report, he detailed on his department’s work aimed at developing and using high-precision geophysical equipment for microseismic observations, and as well on the experience of using seismic survey in carrying out operations on assessing geodynamic activity and gas content in faults at Donbas mines. The report was highly appreciated by the conference participants and moderators.
