From July 9 to 11, 2026, the 14th All-Russian Congress of the Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies was held at the platform of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech, Moscow). The event brought together representatives of the Councils of Young Scientists, student scientific societies, educational and scientific institutions, government agencies, and leading science and technology experts from across the country.
The Donetsk People's Republic was represented at the Congress by young scientists and specialists from the region's leading scientific and educational institutions, including RANIMI,FSBSI, “Donetsk Academy of Transport” Autonomous non-Profit Educational Institution of Higher Education, "Institute of Physics of Mining Processes" Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution and "DonNTU" Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education.
RANIMI was represented at the Congress by the Deputy Chairman of the RANIMI Council of Young Scientists M.V. Gordienko.
Over the course of three days, the participants discussed topical issues in the development of science and higher education, measures to support young researchers, improving the activities of the Councils of Young Scientists, developing scientific mentoring, implementing the initiatives of the Decade of Science and Technology, and mechanisms for interaction between science, education and industry.
The Congress program included plenary sessions, thematic sections, roundtables, strategic sessions, and discussion platforms devoted to the matters of science policy, young scientists’ career development, popularization of science, attracting talented young people to research and developing interregional scientific cooperation.
The participation of the representatives of scientific institutions from the Donetsk People's Republic in the XIV All-Russian Congress allowed learning the best practices in arranging the activities of the Councils of Young Scientists, exchanging experiences with colleagues from various regions of Russia, establishing new professional contacts and discussing prospects for joint scientific and youth projects.
