announces a competition to fill the vacant position of Junior Researcher (2 positions at 0.25 FTE) in the Department of Computer Technologies.
- Branch of Science: Earth Sciences.
Requirements to Qualification:higher professional education – Specialist’s or Master’s degree in the field of study "Mining Engineering" and at least 3 years of professional work experience.
Job Description: fulfilling individual tasks within the framework of research objectives. Conducting research, experiments, observations and measurements based on the methodology suggested by the principal investigator. Developing mechanisms for filing databases with relevant user interface elements allowing for the entry and modification of spatial and attribute data on the faults, their variants and vertices.
Special requirements:
- experience in operating geographic information systems (GIS) and PostgreSQL DBMS;
- knowledge of principles for handling large volumes of spatial data and optimizing data processing methods performance;
- knowledge of principles for designing automated tests for complex domain databases;
- at least three scientific publications in the relevant profile within the last 5 years (articles in scientific journals indexed in the White List, Higher Attestation Commission and other national scientific citation databases); patents for the Intellectual Activity Results (Inventions, Utility Models or Inventor’s Certificates for a Program for Electronic Computing Machines); reports at all-Russian or international scientific conferences;
- experience in conducting research works.
2. Branch of Science: Computer and Information Sciences.
Requirements to Qualification: higher professional education – specialist’s or master's degree in the program of study “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science” and at least 3 years of occupational experience.
Job Description: fulfilling individual tasks within the framework of research objectives. Application of the system for testing database filing mechanisms in the form of a set of self-verifying scripts designed to confirm adherence to all domain rules and detect errors.
Special requirements:
- experience in operating geographic information systems (GIS) and PostgreSQL DBMS;
- knowledge of principles for implementing data versioning and working with graph or hierarchical data structures;
- at least three scientific publications in the relevant profile within the last 5 years (articles in scientific journals indexed in the White List, Higher Attestation Commission, and other national scientific citation databases); patents for the Intellectual Activity Results (Inventions, Utility Models or Inventor’s Certificates for a Program for Electronic Computing Machines); reports at all-Russian or international scientific conferences;
- experience in conducting research works.
Terms and Conditions:
Salary: basic salary – 55,644.0 rubles.
Incentive payments are in accordance with the Regulations on Compensation for RANIMI, FSBSI Employees.
The employment contract to be concluded for an indefinite term.
