VIII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Mining Geology, Geomechanics and Mine Surveying"

You are most invited to participate in the VIII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Mining Geology, Geomechanics and Mine Surveying".
The tentative date for the conference to be held is October 22-23, 2026, at the Republican Academic Research and Design Institute of Mining Geology, Geomechanics, Geophysics, and Mine Surveying, Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution (FSBNU "RANIMI").
Basic sections of the conference
"Geomechanics and Mine Surveying" Section:
- formation and evolution of the stress&strain state in rock masses and in the soil surface;
- mine workings protection, maintenance, and intelligent location;
- rock outbursts and gas-dynamic phenomena prediction and prevention;
- soil surface displacements prediction, buildings and structures protection;
- hydrogeomechanical research;
- mine surveying studies into the safe performance of mining operations;
- provision for the environmental safety of mining regions;
- scientific foundations for choosing the intelligent mining operations parameters.
"Integrated Geological and Geophysical Surveys of the Subsoil" Section:
- coal and hydrocarbon deposits geology and geophysics;
- geology and geophysics for solving environmental issues;
- geology and geophysics for solving engineering and geological issues;
- geophysical methods for hazardous geodynamic phenomena studies;
- application of mathematical methods in geological and geophysical data processing and interpretation.
Participation Terms
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
Working languages: Russian, English.
Participation Form: in-person, virtual, and online.
Authors of the reports must submit their applications for participation and the wording of their reports to the organizing committee by email no later than September 1, 2026. An invitation from the organizing committee will serve as grounds for participation.
The Editorial board reserves the right to reject the materials submitted after the mentioned deadline, the ones not meeting the requirements or having no scientific value.
The responsibility for the accuracy and literacy of the submitted materials is born by the authors.
The conference is intended to be held in the form of plenary meetings and breakout session providing for a broad exchange of views, scientific and industrial experiences.
The materials of the conference will be published in the forms of the Conference Proceedings prior to the conference commencement and will be listed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database with DOI indices assigned.
