• to present the ideas and opinions on the issue of ensuring the environmental safety in mining regions;
• to concentrate the efforts of the scientists on discussing the issues of the negative impact of repeated undermining of the territories of cities and towns by underground mining; of sinkhole formation at the undermined territories; of the mine gases entering the soil surface, buildings and structures; of the atmosphere, soil and surface water pollution; of the reduction of the rock barrows impact on the environment;
• to transfer the experience and knowledge accumulated by the modern science to young scientists, who are conducting research in the sphere of mining;
• to define new strategic directions for developing the methods for predicting possible hazardous phenomena at the undermined territories and measures to prevent such.

• Participation in the round table meeting is free of charge;

• Participation format: in-person, remote;
• The materials of the round table meeting will be published in the Collection of Scientific Papers "Transactions of RANIMI" (is on the list of publications of the Higher Attestation Commission) and posted in the Russian Research Citation Index database with DOI indices assigned.
