Two sections “The Integrated Geological and Geophysical Studies of the Subsoil” and “Geomechanics and Mine Surveying” operated within the framework of the conference.
Representatives of the following institutions took part in the work of the sections: RANIMI, FSBSI (Donetsk); ZabSU, FSBEI of HE (Chita); Institute for Physics of Mining Processes, FSBSI (Donetsk); MISiS, NUST (Moscow); DonNTU, FSBEI of HE (Donetsk); Makeyevka Scientific and Research Institute for Occupational Safety in Mining Industry, FBI (Makeyevka); DonSTU, FSBEI of HE (Alchevsk); Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of the RAS (Moscow); Institute for the Problems of Integrated Subsoil Development of the RAS (IPKON RAS, Moscow); SIGI, LLC (Prokopyevsk). A total of 44 papers were submitted.
In the course of the conference the current issues and innovations in the mining industry of Donbas and other coal-mining regions of Russia were discussed, issues of oil and gas field development were touched upon, and the developments and research performed by the representatives of the leading scientific mining schools of Russia were presented. Particular attention was paid to assessing the actual seismic activity at the territory of the region and to the need for elaborating a General Seismic Zoning Scheme, as well as to assessing the degree of seismic safety of the population of the densely populated region with instrumental seismological observations to be organized in Donbas for such purposes by the means of a network of seismic stations.
Based on the results of the conference a collection of articles will be published in ePUB form, which will be registered at the Scientific Electronic Library elibrary.ru and will be included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database.
