The Section program was opened by Svyatoslav Vyacheslavovich Afanasyev, Director of the Digital Development Department by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. He outlined the problematic range of issues the educational and scientific organizations are facing in the matters of information security. The program included speeches delivered by five speakers on the current information security issues either within organizations, or on the personal safety of their employees.
77 representatives from the following regions participated in the work of the Section: Moscow and Moscow region, Rostov region, DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye region, Vladimir region, Voronezh region, Irkutsk region, Kaliningrad region, Oryol region, Orenburg region, Penza region, Saratov region, Samara region, Yaroslavl region, Krasnoyarsk region, Stavropol region, the Republics of Adygea, Buryatia, Dagestan, Kalmykia, Tatarstan and Karachay-Cherkessia, as well as the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, St.Petersburg and Sevastopol and others. In the result of the Section, the participants gave a positive assessment of the lectures held and declared the need to hold such events on a regular basis for exchanging experience of positive practices in the sphere of information security.
