Formal session of the DPR Council of Young Scientists and Specialists has been held

The Regional Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (RCYSS) — a permanent advisory and consultative body established by the order of the DPR Committee for Science and Technology — has officially started its operation in the Donetsk People's Republic. Its goal is to unite talented young people from universities, research institutes and scientific organizations for systematic support of research and innovation.

The formal session of the Council was held by its Chairman, Daniil Romanovich Belichko, who is a member of the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the Scientific and Educational Spheres under the President of the Russian Federation. This provides for the direct link to the federal programs and strengthens the Republic's integration into the national scientific community.

At the first meeting the structure of the Council has been approved: its Presidium and three Task Teams (on regulations and analytics, on communications and popularization, and on projects and grants). An active role in holding the event was plaid by the Deputy Director for Scientific Activity of RANIMI, FSBSI P.M. Golubev, who is the Deputy Chairman of RCYSS and the Head of the Task Team for Communications and Popularization of Science.

Priorities for 2026–2027 have been identified to include supporting startups, developing subsidized mortgage for scientists, creating a registry of laboratories and holding a large-scale youth forum.
